Sponsorship Opportunities for SMFS’s 2026 Disaster Recovery, Rebuilding and Resilience Conference

The Southern Municipal Finance Society (SMFS) invites your participation and sponsorship at its 2026 conference. SMFS is a constituent society of the National Federation of Municipal Analysts (NFMA) and is dedicated to providing educational opportunities to professionals in the municipal finance industry. Support from companies such as yours allows SMFS to offer a quality conference that meets our goals of providing professional education to the municipal bond community and demonstrating support for the region affected by Hurricane Helene.

This year’s Conference will be held in Asheville, NC on September 23-25, 2026. The conference will start off with a volunteer community service event on the afternoon of September 23 and conclude by noon on September 25.

Blue Ridge Transportation Sponsor -  $1,250 (two available)

o   Transportation Sponsorship Recognition as our transportation partners for the bus transportation to the community service event and the local bus tour and dine-around

o   On-site acknowledgement during opening remarks each day
o   Two Complimentary Registrations to the conference for your team

Pinnacle Conference Partner - $1,000

High County Conference Champion - $500

o   Logo Placement on all event materials and conference communications

Foothills Conference Sponsor - $250

o   Logo Placement on all event materials and conference communications
o   On-site acknowledgement during opening remarks each day 

Asheville Community Partner – amount flexible

o   Please make a donation directly to RiverLink in honor of our community event partner.
o   We will recognize your support as an Asheville Community Partner at our community service event on Wednesday afternoon and at the conference opening remarks.

In-kind Contributions

o   Support comes in many shapes and sizes. We are also excited to include in-kind contributions in the welcome bag for our attendees. Whether you decide to sponsor or not, please reach out if you have branded items that you would be willing to contribute to our attendees.
